I really like the artstyle and cconcept, but it ends up being a little "trial & error" due to innfrequent checkpoints.
16. Dec 2013 · 04:46 CET
I really like this, will be coming back to it
16. Dec 2013 · 04:57 CET
It's the dark souls of one touch gaming!
16. Dec 2013 · 05:21 CET
Art is really nice. good implementation of a single input
16. Dec 2013 · 05:26 CET
this is a really great entry! well done on the game play, and the graphics are just really awesome. i love the monochromatic approach, and i love the animation too. well done all around
16. Dec 2013 · 05:59 CET
Seems like my host took down the game due to too high traffic. I'll have to post it somwhere else. There will be an update...
16. Dec 2013 · 06:24 CET
Ok, I uploaded the game on Newgrounds as a fallback. Should be fine now.
Thanks for all your feedback. I deeply appreciate it.
16. Dec 2013 · 06:49 CET
I love the graphic effect!
16. Dec 2013 · 06:52 CET
Awesome! The art style, animations, gameplay, everything is great. And good implementation of one button controls.
16. Dec 2013 · 06:55 CET
Nice art work.
16. Dec 2013 · 07:26 CET
Dang, there isn't anything this game is missing.
16. Dec 2013 · 07:27 CET
Great graphics and interesting gameplay, if rather difficult. Excellent implementation of the theme! I can't tell you how unnerving it is to walk towards a pit having to trust that my character will jump for me. Fun stuff!
16. Dec 2013 · 07:28 CET
love the look!
16. Dec 2013 · 07:29 CET
Really liked the idea. Made it to the second checkpoint!

Wow. That's a really impressive volume of work for 48 hours. Nice use of the theme and I LOVE the visuals. Like a modern game boy :)
16. Dec 2013 · 13:10 CET
Enjoyed it =)
Theme is really respected!
16. Dec 2013 · 16:22 CET
Excellent palette and gameplay: one of the best games I tried! You should make a mobile version: touch to advance ;)
16. Dec 2013 · 17:21 CET
Really nice, liking the art style a lot!
16. Dec 2013 · 17:22 CET
Art is great for this, sounds get a little loud and repetitive, But it helps set the mood somewhat.
I think game mechanics wise, it gets annoying having to restart so far back every time, as it does require trial and error.
But it is a decent game, And honestly a great concept, brings me right back to the old Prince of persia games.

Such an awesome game! reminds me of the oddworld games a good thing), I liked the platforming and timing aspects. Don't get what the others are complaining about the checkpoints, its a short game so if you had checkpoints every screen it would be way too easy. No annoying music, just sound cues which help a lot with the timing of the jumps. The graphics are amazing aswell, very clean and stylized. Probably m favourite game of the competition so fare. Well done!
16. Dec 2013 · 17:35 CET
Really really nice animations. And AMAZING that you added checkpoints. I would have not finished the game if I had to start from scratch every time. Overall a really good game.

Died 25 timtes in the process, though...
16. Dec 2013 · 17:37 CET
one of the bests!
16. Dec 2013 · 22:43 CET
Truly excellent, graphics and gameplay remind me of Prince of Persia or Dragon's Lair. Animation is great and i love the simple immerssive sound. I wonder if you can go pass the boulder, because i didnt see how ... Keep the good work
16. Dec 2013 · 23:23 CET
You can go pass the boulder. You just need to attack the first skeleton right before it turns at the ledge and then jump directly to the second skeleton to stab it from behind. This way you outrun the boulder. But you have to close the first gate in order to be safe while opening the second one.

Firstly, graphics are absolutely gorgeous, love the contrasting colours! Splash screen is especially beautiful. Secondly, the difficulty reminds me of Another World. Thirdly, get use of the theme. Love it A LOT.
17. Dec 2013 · 14:27 CET
Not bad, man. Very interesting one-direction mechanic =)
17. Dec 2013 · 16:28 CET
I've mentioned this in my top 6 games on LD28 so far:
17. Dec 2013 · 16:40 CET
Looks and plays great. Fine use of the theme! It is a little trial and error, but for anyone who's spent hundreds of hours in Sen's Fortress it just feels like home. Great work!
17. Dec 2013 · 16:47 CET
Nice graphics, gives me a nostalgic retro feeling.
17. Dec 2013 · 17:59 CET
Very cool.
I fell down the first gap in the horizontal laser/blade room, didn't die, had to refresh page, start from beginning.
17. Dec 2013 · 18:00 CET
Dude, this is amazing. My favorite game so far!
17. Dec 2013 · 18:59 CET
Really great game. It fits the theme well. Perhaps some branching paths would add some replay value.
17. Dec 2013 · 20:15 CET
Really good game, reminded me of the tv show Knightmare. Would love to see this continued!
17. Dec 2013 · 22:56 CET
Wow this is an amazing take on the theme in its most simplest form you have made something challenging and fun to play. Well done!
18. Dec 2013 · 00:28 CET
Ok, i made it to the end, great ending animation by the way. I realy liked the final trap ^^, thank for this game !
19. Dec 2013 · 18:08 CET
Holy crap, everything is awesome! except for the length which is not your fault :) Took me 30 tries!
19. Dec 2013 · 19:36 CET
The art and animation is fantastic. I found myself enjoying the punishing nature of the game more towards the end once I felt more competent. I died 27 times.

That was brutal but really fun. Played single touch games to death on touch devices but never come across this approach. Great job! Would love to play a longer mobile version of this.
20. Dec 2013 · 00:28 CET
The mix of 3D animation and 2D tiles is unexpectedly good. It seems like you designed fluid 2D animations like prince of persia. Even with only one button you suceeded in making fun fighting sequence, the skeleton behaviour is very neat.
Infact the audio too remind me prince of persia with the tac-tac-tac of mechanism :) This is where the nostalgic feeling is coming from...
20. Dec 2013 · 00:39 CET
way too few checkpoints
20. Dec 2013 · 02:09 CET
Great interpretation of the theme! The gameplay is really interesting. Nice work! I just think you should add a checkpoint in the beginning of every room.

one of the best LD games I played. super nice graphics. The character walk cycle is well done.

I died 40 times in the process :p
20. Dec 2013 · 04:29 CET
Very nice one button game!
20. Dec 2013 · 14:58 CET
Excellent! Probably the best entry I played so far, it reminds me of the old Prince of Persia games, and I'm really glad I actually finished it :) You have a typo right at the end 'timtes' should be 'times', right? I think, under the rules, you are allowed to fix it.
20. Dec 2013 · 16:22 CET
Really nice art and concept, excellent hard core action game.
20. Dec 2013 · 21:21 CET
I got pretty frustrated with the checkpoints being every few levels, but altogether it's a beautiful game, with great art, audio, gameplay, and concept :D
20. Dec 2013 · 23:39 CET
Really great game and a difficult challenge. The art style is great and the puzzles well crafted.
21. Dec 2013 · 00:01 CET
Very nicely done art and smooth animation. An incredible amount of work for 48 hours!
24. Dec 2013 · 15:57 CET
This is so awesome, really beautiful art style and colour pallet, I love it when people do 2D games in Unity. Rated highly. :)
24. Dec 2013 · 18:47 CET
Awesome game ! Very clever level design guy.
26. Dec 2013 · 10:02 CET

28. Dec 2013 · 19:15 CET
one of the best so far. amazing in every way, except maybe a little to much trial & error at some points, especially those that has to do with unforeseeable attacks.
02. Jan 2014 · 02:40 CET
Very nice! It was challenging, but not to the point of making me want to give up on it.
06. Jan 2014 · 09:39 CET
Art style and animations are great.
06. Jan 2014 · 23:06 CET
It's so nice!!! :)
It reminds me of games on the Amiga. ;)
And it's a lot of fun due to the fact, that there's only one button and no "way back" :D
07. Jan 2014 · 00:31 CET
Great concept and awesome execution, animations and sound especially.
07. Jan 2014 · 02:34 CET
