[raw]
made by unpronounceable for LD33 (COMPO)
You play as a nameless monster invading the mead halls of the kingdom of Oszmot. Kill brave warriors and use their bodies to bludgeon others to death. Shove people into a fire and watch them burn. Eat the fallen and horrify your opponents.

A simple strategy game inspired by the story of Beowulf. The goal is to see how many nights you can survive, with each night getting progressively harder.

All valid inputs are shown in the lower left corner while you're playing.

I thought this was a really fun little game, I especially liked the 'game over' text :D

Needs a bit more care with its input system- there's no way to pick up a chair you're on top of, for example. Graphics could use a bit more work too- the characters and world don't really mesh.

Honestly I thought this is going to be... not very good, when I 1st saw it, but damn I had a good time. I don't know maybe I just haven't seen an rpg yet during this LD, but I loved this. Throwing stuff at the enemies is clever, horrifying them too. It's nice and strategic. One of my favourites so far. Grats!

I'm amazed at how many cool mechanics you were able to shove into this little game, a really great turn based strategy brawler.

It has a lot of room for improvements. One being - I can't walk over dead guys. Why can't I walk over the dead guy? :)

This was fantastic. Running around, throwing all the chairs and then eating guys. Awesome game :)

Nice little game, I had a lot of fun playing it, Those Ulfhednar's are a real threat. Throwing things might be a bit overpowered, or physical attacks might be a bit underpowered because I almost always used a throw.

Well-made game, a list of available action is a very good interface decision for a such a game. It wasn't VERY much fun, because of its somewhat limited nature, but I still enjoyed it.
