Hi again!

This time we have brought you: Rampaging Monster Mayhem!
You are, obviously, the monster and the basic concept is to destroy as many enemies (good guys) as possible while staying alive for as long as you can.

For every good guy killed, you will receive evolve points. These evolve points can be spend to increase your attack power and survive even longer.

We are sincerely curious about what score you guys are able to get. We would appreciate if you could let us know. :D

Happy rampaging!

Controls:
- A and D to move left and right.
- E to enter and exit the evolve menu.
- LEFT MOUSE CLICK to shoot.
- ALT + F4 to exit the game.

EDIT (25-8-2015, 12:10)
We know that the biggest problem right now is balancing. We spend several hours on it and it's still whacky. We hope you can still enjoy the game for as far as balancing goes. :D

EDIT (29-8-2015, 10:04)
Just for the fun of it, we'll keep a list of high scores people get! :D

Wow, it got crazy really quick!
I like the concept but there are a couple of things that made gameplay less enjoyable:
1- there's no indication why i can't keep moving left/right. the monster suddenly stops after a certain spot
2 - some shots should clearly hit the targets but they don't. the opposite also happens some times.

Great job nonetheless!

Everything seemed to go way too fast. Could that be because I'm using a 120hz monitor?

impressive upgrades and you always have something to kill. Sad that you can't really avoid taking damage all the time

It felt nice when enemies got plenty in number. However I couldn't use any other weapons than laser if there are any. Healing could be cool improvement.

Love it! Couldn't stop playing. Love the upgrade dynamic. Seemed like a lot of the laser shots didn't hit at times. But overall, a lot of fun. Great Job!

Neat entry. My score was over 5k. It was cool to see how much upgradability I had. I'm not entirely sure how I was missing some of my shots, is there a trick to it?

For everyone thinking they are missing some shots, mostly on the laser:

We think there is a bug where hit detection isn't triggered correctly. We hope this doesn't ruin your gameplay too much.

One of the best godzilla-type game that I have seen in the jam. Nice work and very addictive :-) Great!!

I think you got the balance down just fine! It certainly kept me playing. You get right close to getting an upgrade the first couple times, then you get and upgrade and it RULES! Then you die. Beautiful game, brilliantly difficult, and fun.

Really fun game. I liked the progression of all the weapons and how crazy things get at the end. The slow movement added to the feeling of being a monster good work.

Got to 7332 score, that isn't too bad right?
The hit detection could use a little more accuracy but with the amount of weapons you can have, something's bound to land :)

Fun entry! It got harder very quickly. I felt like my evolution couldn't keep up with the enemy masses. Is there a way to destroy or avoid the missiles? That music is from Jazz Jackrabbit 2, right? Labrat theme. :D

Simple but very fun, managed to get to 17000 points :D. Hit detection seemed a bit off with the laser but not so much of an issue when you're firing multiple lasers, swirlies and shockwaves (with width increased maxed), camera gave a nice feeling of intensity, though it can get too intense when too many gather. Good Job!

Great idea, but it is getting hard a bit too fast.

It's a nice, simple concept that fits with the theme. The graphics are nice, but it would've been good to see some animation in there. A good, solid entry.

Straightforward approach to theme, but a fun game with nice graphics. Though I must say that laser beams look slightly wrong the way they appear not on any specific place on monster, but just somewhere.

I liked the upgrades and I really wanted to be able to unlock everything.
I wished I could but I died very easily.
Also the map is small, can't go much to right and left, but the game was nice to play :)
