Blobs... They are cute and want to give you hugs. But you don't like hugs, you're a monster.

If you can, play with a gamepad, it'll feel a lot better.
You can rebind keys in the launcher.

Keyboard:
- Left/Right arrow to move.
- Up arrow to jump.
- Left Ctrl to attack (1 damage).
- Space to dash (2 damages on the ground, 3 in the air).
- R to restart.
- Escape to quit.

XBox 360 pad:
- Left stick to move.
- A to jump.
- X to attack (1 damage).
- B to dash (2 damages on the ground, 3 in the air).
- R to restart.
- Escape to quit.

I don’t think a square would give a very nice hug.

Best ground pound sprite I have seen in a long time.

I found the gameplay enjoyable. A very minor quibble I have is that the sprite used pixel art and the scenery used very clean lines.

Overall good game. Just not a fan of the CTRL key as Attack

It was good! Playing the game with Mac and attacking with Ctrl and pressing the arrow keys just slides the game away but good job!

Nice game! The controls feel good, and the impacts too! Maybe the blobs could do with some more art, and some music would be a nice addition :)

Keep up the good work!

Animations are insane. Colours are what im looking for most of the time. Enjoyable in the end! Good work

Gets a bit tricky when the dead blobs obscure the living ones :) Nice and responsive though, good job!

The controls have a nice feel to them, and the game is very pretty. It would be nice if the dead squares had a little bit of transparency or something, otherwise it gets hard to see the small ones that spawn later. Showing where they pop out at you is nice touch.
I agree. People who don't like hugs are monsters!

Nice, I like options in combat and things like various moves. On the other hand the theme interpretation is a bit clumsy.

Gamepad controls felt quite smooth and the core gameplay worked well, but the connection to the theme felt a bit forced. Still, nice job!! :)

Cool game. Controls felt very solid i thought, and it was pretty satisfying to beat up squares. Very nice!

I liked the context-sensitive controls. It felt surprisingly polished even though the graphics were inconsistent and rough.

Hey this was a really cool game! would have been better if there was a score or some drive to keep playing. but the mechanics of the game were well polished.

This entry was very fun. Nice work with the coordinated color palette and particle effects. The hitboxes were a little tough to get used to at first, and some music would have been nice. This game has very good aesthetic feel, I would love to see more of this concept! Well done!
