Mazeotaur by Killbert
Hint: Use chrome silly.
I had an all nighter before I started. I passed out twice first day. I had a 30 kilometre bike ride. And now I have this. There's no actual fail state. You end the game by killing all the victims.
An entry for Ludum Dare 33.
You are the minotaur in a maze. Kill everyone.
Controls:
W - forward
S - backwards
Mouse - look direction
Left Mouse Click - attack victim - must be close.

advice: to create nice mood try to add some sounds and music
also the more effects to players actions (particles on attacks, may-be moving, etc)
good job!
+ i would like te see W and S changed for the shift key.
The problem I have is that there is no reason not to kill everything. Why does the mazeotaur have to kill everything apart from being a monster? Sorry for the questioning.
I wish there was a way to see the in-game models better. I think I can see some detail on the victims, but the work you put into it is really hard to see from the top-down view.
Sometimes the lighting seems to flip out, like the red light spreads really far and/or flickers.
The first time I played, I had a kind of scrunched-up zig-zagging area in the top right. The Minotaur could barely squeeze through the corridors, and I eventually popped out of the map, haha. Must have been some kind of bug with the map generation that one time, because the rest of the times I tried, the map seemed pretty consistent and didn't have an area like that. I don't know what I did!
Despite a few bugs, cool game! Hope you develop this further! :)
Loved that you used the "minotaur maze" myth here.
Wasn't a fan of "clicking to attack". The game would feel way better if the minotaur auto-attacked victims when within range.
I didn't see many games this LD that played or used mazes, which is a real pity, as I love maze games!
A nice entry given your limited time. Kudos!
