Emitter by Humanoid
In Emitter you can emit death around you. But the evil squares have found ways to block death. They can only move, when the emitter moves. I'd describe this as a puzzler. The game is controlled using the arrow keys and space bar. It will save your progress. Oh, and stage 9 is beatable, it's just unfair.
This is my first time competing in Ludum Dare, so I might be missing vital information. Oh well, as long as you can enjoy my game it's all right. Also, thanks for all your great comments and tweets. This is awesome!
I've verified the game working in the following browsers:
- Chromium 41.0.2272.76 (After fixing the syntax error, oops, I swear it worked before!)
- Firefox 37.0.1
- Firefox 40.0a1
I do not have access to any other browsers at the moment, sorry.
Boring stuff:
- The game is controlled by 987 hand-written lines of JS
- Sounds are generated with an Euponium and a Phone in a Box.

Syntax error in chrome but works in Firefox. I couldn't figure out what to do in stage 1, I pressed space and emitted death but the purple square lived and nothing else could be done.

I get it! It's really interesting, but I stuck at stage 6. :P

Looks quite pleasing to the eye with the minimalist design, and it's an original idea. For me it worked fine in Chrome too by the way. Nice work though!

Good game. Interesting idea about light and bomb. And turnbased. Think it can be more fun in realtime. But harder also.

I'm stuck at stage 6. I think that the way that the first stages teach the game needs a bit of work. I didn't really understand the mechanics of the game until a few levels in. I think it would help if Spacebar could be used to hit retry, so that both hands can stay on the keyboard. I found it fun.

Very nice! Took a while before I started getting the hang of the logic (played level 2 many times), but after that it picked up. I like the visuals (and have to admit that I am slightly annoyed by the fail-sound!)

Like some of the other people commenting, I am also stuck at level 6. It's a really cool idea for a puzzle mechanic, and I'm loving the minimalist design. I'm not really too sure about how the AI for the enemies is working, which makes it hard to solve the puzzles.

That's a very interesting design, I would have never have thought of something like that before.

Well done, beat it with relative ease there was some slight difficulty which made it funner! Great job.

Cool mechanic, it took awhile to get it though. Don't know how but maybe work on the tutorial. Nice work!

Good job (especially for your first entry). I like the mechanics and this minimalism design. It fits nicely together. I completed it, yeah!

Very nice, would love to see this fleshed out and a lot more levels added. The movement mechanics kind of reminded me of a really old computer game, "Daleks". Level 6 wasn't so hard, got it on the 2nd try. :)

I like the minimal graphics, but I found I couldn't really grasp the mechanics

Clean design, hard as hell and a unique idea! I love puzzle games. The color choices are also well done. Very cool humanoid!

I'm not sure the game is working correctly. After pressing space in level 1, nothing happens: I can't move anything. Looks like it freezes. Or am I just not getting what to do?

Pretty cool concept. Simple graphics but they work well. I know it's petty, but it annoyed me to have to click the retry button on a keyboard only game, haha. I thought the puzzles were well designed. Good job!
