Tetris meets Black & White.

In a new twist on an old puzzle game your playing field is populated by the little green TETROMINIONS. You are a vengeful god, determined to kill them all. Use the TETROMINO stones as weapons.

Controls: Arrow keys (like Tetris).

Unlike Tetris, you have a real chance to beat this game.

Fun little game, made a line across the grid after I'd squished all the greenies and, yup that worked well :) Perhaps a thinner grid would have been nicer but still a decent cross between tetris and dr mario :)

Will you be expanding on this game post ludum dare though? It has potential.

Looks cool. I wish there was a Mac or web version.

A nice idea, lots of fun squishing the little bugs. Easy to beat but the concept is clever. Would be interesting to see some other mechanics added. I did try to score a line Tetris style but nothing happened.

If you are not careful the bugs can get housed in. Music was good and sound effects added to the fun.

careless: You should be able to score a line in order to uncover housed in minions. That is kinda the point of the game. I'm afraid you found a bug.

Fun little tetris clone. I liked the music and graphics. Like others said, a thinner board would be nice. I also missed the possibility to move faster to right or left, when holding the respective key. Indeed it was fairly easy, but I liked this game. Good job!

Cool game, but too easy (and a bit buggy).

Pretty good idea for a game! It needs a lot more balance, though -- with it being so wide, there's really no reason to make lines. Just shoot for the bugs even if the pieces don't fit. I also hard a hard time visually distinguishing between a finished piece that the bugs built vs their random crap that was lying on top of the board.

The concept looks interesting but maybe just not fully visited. I’d love a more challenging version of the game, maybe with more minions or a more narrow playing area?

Poor little green guys :D Nice game! Maybe one small improvement. Allow movement of block to sides by holding arrow, not just pushing it repeatedly.

Good concept. As mentioned above, a little too easy, but a good idea. Perhaps make the board smaller or allow more guys to spawn later.

Played through really quickly, could elongate the game a little bit to really experience what you made. It was fun, and I felt good about winning, but also felt like I couldn't lose. Good start.

thoughts:
- Nice blending of genres.
- Maybe it's just my PC, but I couldn't hold a key.
('Left-left-left' instead of just holding left for a little longer to move a tetra 2 spaces.)
- This could become pretty addictive, but it's a bit too easy as it stands, I think. (Kept hoping there was a second level, so that's a good thing.)
- It somehow made me think of being the invaders of Space Invaders (instead of the earth-defense-thingy). Crush the earthli-... err... tetrominions!
(- Mostly unrelated, but is anyone else experiencing problems with BitDefender (an antivirus package) blocking itch.io games? I had to whitelist 'itch.zone' to download this one (a week ago or so evything worked fine).)

Fun game and nice idea, the controls feel a bit stiff but it's not bugging. Maybe have a little longer time of gameplay could have been nice, adding enemies or the "destroy the line" tetris mechanic for example. Good job!

Nice concept! The game has potential. :)
Indeed, being able to move faster to the left or the right would be nice. Also, when I make a line (which is indeed quite hard with such a wide screen), the beds and unfinished blocks stay floating in the air.
Oh, and nice music. :)

I liked how the tetrominions would take a nap and build stuff, making the inevitable body-smashing take a little longer.
