It has some rather atmospheric aesthetics. It's a little frustrating that so many cards turn out to be unused, though. And though you can see what lies in front of you, it's difficult to know what's to your left and right. (You can use the arrow keys to look around the area, but then it's hard to know where you originally were.) Also, I'm not sure I'd consider the concept of summoning heroes\/minions to fight for you to be especially unconventional.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Overall though, I did find this game fun. And I'd be interested in playing a more complete version."},{"author_name":"dusho","author_uid":"36575","time":"Apr 23, 2015 @ 5:25pm","epoch":1429809600,"text":"try some other Unity exports.. I ended out not spending a lot of time with this because I wasn't sure what I was doing, and when it said "tap to attack" or whatever, I kept click without it doing anything. the when it finally did something it said i died. i felt i didn't have feedback as to what i did wrong."},{"author_name":"Perjoka","author_uid":"38892","time":"May 11, 2015 @ 7:27am","epoch":1431328920,"text":"Nice game, i like the visual style."},{"author_name":"parzivalTheVirtual","author_uid":"35475","time":"May 11, 2015 @ 2:32pm","epoch":1431354420,"text":"Very buggy. Nicely spooky, and the gameplay is interesting. I think there may be some issues, like: How do I know how much health I have? I used a rune on my own square and got a "YOU DIED" message, but I was still able to play; is that correct? The other thing that nagged at me was that I could play cards any time I wanted, and in theory I can "run out" (which is why fragments let me recover them), but I didn't seem to be in any danger of running out any time soon. Maybe I'm just not in tune with the way it was balanced. Hm...I'm afraid as the theme goes, though, it wasn't really "unconventional"..."},{"author_name":"n9Mtq4","author_uid":"52122","time":"May 11, 2015 @ 7:40pm","epoch":1431372900,"text":"Loved the graphics and the soft music."},{"author_name":"Borkleby","author_uid":"50895","time":"May 12, 2015 @ 12:13am","epoch":1431389280,"text":"WHOA! The game idea fit well with the theme, so we built a part of it for the jam.\r\n\r\nExplore the dungeon, play cards to summon heroes and minions to fight monsters. You are weak, but your decisions are powerful. As well as heroes and minions, you can play runes and structures to assist you on your path through the dungeon.\r\n\r\nPress the deck button to turn over cards to your hand, you can either move your character (with the direction buttons) or play a card (press a card in your hand to select it, then tap on a tile to play it).\r\n\r\nCheck out the game page for more information. We'll update that with more information about the game as it develops. This'll be a mobile game at first release, but the jam game we've built uses mouse-click controls.\r\n\r\n","title":"Etsuq"}
