Tile Invaders by j_peeba
Tile Invaders is a tetris-meets-space-invaders game. Try to maintain clean rows while enemies ascending from above try to mess up your efforts! But worry not you can fight back by landing your block which will then fire bullets to every direction, and if you find yourself in a particularly difficult position you can call for an airstrike!
The game is made with blueprints in Unreal Engine 4. The HTML5 version works at least on a new version of Chrome but the visuals and the performance are of much lower fidelity. Running the standalone version is highly recommended.

There are some more bugs. I've managed to rotate a shape and get it stuck inside the was. And if you drop a block on an enemy that's about to hit a tile, the tile moves up and gets overwritten by your block.
Anyway, I liked the game, especially graphics and music. But I didn't find myself playing it for a long time. Maybe because I player enough tetris.
The problem with bullets passing through things happens (at least on my computer) with the HTML5 version. It's probably due to the fact that I don't use continuous collisions with them (d'oh!) so a sub-60fps framerate can make the bug more pronounced. Of course this bug should apply to the standalone as well if it runs slowly.
And I definitely feel for you on the shape rotation... The one thing above everything else that I would fix with the game at the moment is the rotation code. It's buggy and unwieldy to use. :)
But I get the concept and I think you should continue working on this idea its a great concept! polish, add gamepad support and put on xbox/steam!
Also, just wanted to let you know the HTML5 game did not work for me in Chrome in OSX; it gave me a ton of errors. But it works just fine in Firefox.
