Battleship Handyman by Aggrathon

[raw]
made by Aggrathon for LD32 (COMPO)
Spaceflight and MacGyver simulator.
You have to think and act quickly or your battleship will be overwhelmed.

Tips:
Open the menu (Escape) to change sensitivity.
It is possible to use a controller, even if the layout isn't shown.
The fightership is nearly newtonian (meaning that you continue in the direction you were heading even if you turn your ship another way). There is however dampening on turning, making it much easier to steer.

Programs used:
Unity 5
Blender
Gimp
Spacescape
Visual studio

Notes:
No audio (due to running out of time)
(Remove the UnityVS folder from the assets, when looking at sources, if you are not using Visual Studio)

Bugfixes:
Some objects didn't spawn.
Some Collisions not detected.
Showing the loose screen when you won.

Cool game! I found the ship a little hard to control, but my mouse is a little broken, so I can't fairly judge its movement. The game was actually really neat, I liked it!

Nicest idea I have seen on Ludum Dare. I have hard time trying to control ship. Crafting of missiles is good idea and control room adds so much immersion! Atmosphere of space battle is great. Please, finish this game.

I tried to play, but did not get how to fix my ship or destroy the other ship :(
Would be great to have sounds, seems veryt epic, but something is missing :)
Great Job :D

Really immersive gameplay. Of course graphics could be more polished but given the LD time for the game creation. Good job!

Didn't seem to do any damage to the enemy ship and there weren't any clues as to which combo was best... but I can appreciate the scope and ambition of the game!

yea like CiderPunk said, the scope and ambition is there. When i play it i generate a payload but i notice that the first fired payload never gets to the enemy ship before my ship dies D:

Prettt cool as a toy for now, but I'd love to see you develop it into a full blown game in the future.

There's a good idea here, but I have no idea how to achieve anything.
