Meteorite is heading your way and and it will hit your apartment building. Unless you do something about it. Here's a thought. Build a ramp.

Intro cinematic and sort of tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qx29AMJSl_I

Build provisional working stations and manage their crew in order to gather enough materials before the time runs out.

Controls: Mouse

If you are not quite sure what to do, here is a run-down:

Tents will appear through the game. By clicking on them you can choose three different upgrades: welding, planks-hammer and slapping. Welding and hammer tents will automatically generate resource for your end-game goal -building a ramp.

However their crew will eventually have a mental break-down and they need to take a break. Their state is indicated by the smiley face on the tent. If click on the icons above tents, its crews will take a break. This way you can avoid time penalty of mental break down.

Slap tents can very quickly recover tents which had a breakdown.

Key to hard difficulty is utilize combos of hammer/welding tents with slap tents and avoid mental breakdowns on the rest.

I'm not really sure what's going on in the game... or what the icons above the buildings mean. The graphics and animations are cool to watch though.

Hm, I didn't really get what I was doing. But I liked how you told a story through images, and I really liked the clean, desaturated art style. I'm gonna give it another try.

It's an interesting concept. A strategy game based. I like the games that tells a story. The player is awaiting the fatal ending. I don't like that it's a bit slow till that moment.

@strega I will update the description, hopefully that could help future players.

@KedumeBits Hard difficulty should be harder to manage, but I agree that it could require more input from player.

It's very fun, but I can't get more than a general idea of what's going on. I played a few times and came very close to winning, but I don't think there's enough to do late in the game for me to keep going.

I also don't really get how it fits the theme. But, the graphics and sound were nice.

This game is awesome! You did a great job! I fel sorry for every men who died during the construction. :) I watched you youtube intro too, and it was cool, without it i couldn't understand the game. The graphics are also good, they fit with the sound effects.

@ungarischeziegenspielen Oh they are not dying they just have a breakdown and need to rest a bit (or get slapped if that's your thing :D )

I tried it and first I didn't notice anything particular happening, but that was because I didn't have enough planks. I think it would have been nice to disband a tent and get a new one after a while. I would have liked to be able to control the speed of time too. It was moving way to slow when I was happy with my composition of the work-force. It has the beginnings of a nice micro-management game though.

Very unique concept! As usual, I didn't read the description and actually thought, that slapping just do nothing and is some kind of metaphor (they even don't get tired :D). The game is easy to understand without no tutorial, so that's a good call. The only thing that bothered me is static time of recovery of each tent. I could just cycle through all of them without thinking at all ;( Add some random deviations, and that will do nice.

@43iscoding Good to hear someone got the mechanics straight away :) I will keep randomization in my mind for the next time.

Pretty easy to keep everyone happy, especially since they automatically come off break. Lovely visuals though!

This is pretty cool. I cant say much about the audio but the graphics were great, there were clear and I could tell what was going on. This is a really cool short game! Great work!

Love the graphics, even without instructions! I included it in part 4 of my Ludum Dare 32 compilation video series, if you would like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/aLTEhRhwd8A

Aside from reading your introduction, I wasn't sure what I was building for the most part until the ramp started appearing. The items in the carts looked like they were carrying people?

I like the management aspects to this game and it's fun to sit back and watch the people build the ramp.

I really like the basic idea but the game is a little... passive.. You have only to wait at some point.. Btw I really like the graphic style, well done!
