Funny theme! Cool retro feel.Bugged out a bit for me in firefox on what I'd consider the second level, I went back for a key and got stuck listening to the chiptunes.

Nice concept, though I finished the game without ever finding out what action Spacebar does, it just says "Miss!" even at signposts and boulders.

I remember seeing a tutorial image you guys posted earlier... were you able to actually finish the game? I was really looking forward to playing this... :(

The enemies, even the boss (well, the blue pig) ran from me if I had my wok heated... which made the game quite easy. Also, even though the menu song was really cool, the other two songs were, like, 4 notes repeated over and over...

I love Woks, so I really love seeing a game made in unity where you're a guy turning pigs into bacon with a giant Wok as big as the guy himself is.

Music gets a tad repetitive, and the lack of a proper "you win!" on defeating the blue pig is a little annoying though.

Also, what's the spacebar for?

A really cool concept. I think it could use a little polishing around the edges, with a few invisible walls and a few keys that cannot be picked up. The game ended before I realized it. The music was fairly good and the game itself was fun.

A decent idea that heavily lacks polish.

Nice little game, lacks some difficulty or challenge
Also the music is driving me nuts

I noticed that some keys couldn't be picked up, I don't know if it's intentional, but in case it's a bug I played the game with Mozilla

Thanks alpha_rat yeah, the key thing is intentional, You can carry just 1 key at a time. I'll add a note for it.

Fun and silly, though there isn't much else to the game after you learn that you mostly have to run around toward campfires and the piggies will leave you alone

Yeah, we should have made the heat last less! :O Thanks!

Idea is fun, but I get random teleports from one area to another. Often from the border, but can be anywhere. It's really game-breaking

Fun concept! I enjoyed the game. Like the idea of pigs got fried and turned into bacons xD

I like the theme. Who doesn't like bacon?
The hitboxes seemed a bit off, and there were several keys that could not be picked up.

Great pixel art, fun almost pacman-like mechanics, nice music but on the whole needs a bit more polish. Definitely one of the more impressive entries though, well done!

A solid beginning to a good game. Pigs could use a bit of AI, bacon could be used for health. There were signs scattered about but I couldn't read them. But the graphics and music and art style and theme all worked really well together. Some sound effects would help kick it up a notch!

Also, we THINK we reached the end and it just went back to the main menu screen - it seemed a bit abrupt. Overall a really good game.

Overall, it was a pretty good entry. I really like the take on theme and it's a pretty original idea. And I really enjoyed the artwork. It was missing quite a bit of challenge though. It got a bit old after a while. Also, the music was really repetitive. I could see this being a pretty cool game if it was built upon though! If it had some more challenge and a longer, more varied music loop, it could be a pretty fun game!

The graphics are very cute! ^^
The game has a cool story and the weapon idea fits very well with the theme. I wish it was more difficult, but I liked it heheh. It's a nice entry :D

A nice idea with a solid central mechanic. However, I don't think there was enough variety with it to justify the amount of levels. Every one after the first couple (excluding the one with a bunch of pigs) felt the same. It was also a bit too easy. I beat the whole game without ever taking damage.
All in all, a solid effort.

really cool - but it did get repetitive - nice game

Yeah we had all sounds but there was a last-minute problem importing them so the game was released without it =(

The same was for the difficult balance of pigs and scenario.

Thanks for your comments =)

I appreciate the alternativeness of the weapon, the pretty decently varied environments you got going, but overall the game is just too easy. Once you pre-heat the wok before going into the next room there's really nothing to stop you.

Music is hella grating after the 3rd time it repeats, which is just past the title screen :P

Are there any point to bacon? The game needs some other vector of play to do something with.

Fun, interesting game. The enemies are kind of pushovers though. Oh well, still had fun playing this game through to the end! High marks from me!

Fun game and great idea! Had to turn the music down cause it was too repetitive, but still kept playing just to smack those pigs!

Fun game! I like the concept a lot. Trying to keep the wok hot while avoiding pigs was fun, although easy. I did encounter some display and collider issues. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the game. Good job!
