I've some suggestions for you. There are some distinct characteristics of microscopic photography:\r<br\/>\r<br\/>- The objects have high amount of subsurface scattering which makes them look like dark in the center and glowing closer to the edges.\r<br\/>- The foreground of the scene is kind of ambient lit though it smoothly gets dark further from the camera.\r<br\/>- The DOF is usually extremely narrow so you will get high blurriness further from focus distance.\r<br\/>- Even the specular highlights are really soft and blurry in most images and are indistinguishable from diffuse. (This will make them look less like jellies and more like blood cells.)\r<br\/>\r<br\/>I don't know how these characteristics match your art-style but IMHO even partial use of them will make them look even cooler. Good luck and keep up the good work!"},{"author_name":"someone","author_uid":"1207","time":"Apr 23, 2015 @ 1:05am","epoch":1429750800,"text":"The concept sounds interesting and I like the artwork.\r<br\/>Shame you didn't finish it."},{"author_name":"Octopus Melange","author_uid":"44658","time":"Apr 23, 2015 @ 10:30pm","epoch":1429827900,"text":"Please do something with this!"},{"author_name":"gene-z","author_uid":"26095","time":"Apr 23, 2015 @ 10:35pm","epoch":1429828200,"text":"Good artwork ,, nice concept"},{"author_name":"SmilingCat","author_uid":"21630","time":"Apr 23, 2015 @ 10:46pm","epoch":1429828860,"text":"Great start, love the art style."},{"author_name":"geekdrums","author_uid":"25923","time":"Apr 26, 2015 @ 8:39am","epoch":1430037240,"text":"looks cool ! and cute character."},{"author_name":"gelisam","author_uid":"46246","time":"Apr 27, 2015 @ 2:02pm","epoch":1430143020,"text":"Excellent game concept. We had a few major setbacks in design and loss of work that resulted in us loosing a lot of time and motivation. But we decided to cobble together what we could and submit something! \r\n\r\nThe original concept was to play as a nano bot entering a host via needle\/blow dart with the objective of taking them over. We were thinking of implementing this in an objective based way, where you had to fight your way to different parts of the body in order to make the host do something.\r\n\r\nThe core mechanics were to be indirect control of the body's dead cells to make them destroy opposing live cells using the commands 'wait', 'follow' and 'attack'. \r\n\r\nControls:\r\nW\/S\/A\/D - move\r\n1 - wait (AoE)\r\n2 - follow (AoE)\r\n3 - cancel (AoE)\r\n\r\n(Note: some people have experienced a significant pause after loading before the scene appears)","title":"Nanobot"}
