Had to spam buttons and hope things worked out. Mapping to WASD or indicating what each button letter does visually would help. I'm still not sure if I was supposed to be hitting keys in rhythm or matching particular keys to different pitches? Maybe making this indicated by an animation like most rhythm games do would help a lot.
