made by garrisondarkwind for LD32 (JAM)
Are you ready for a photoshoot? In "Photo Fight," up to four players duke it out in the craziest networked camera FPS deathmatch you'll ever play! Race across three floating islands as you ragdoll other players by setting up the perfect shot. Collect filters to enable horse masks, floaties, goatees, and more! Prove your photography skills over a strict time limit and watch the bodies pile up. Line up the perfect shot and utter the words of power: Say Cheese!

NOTE: This is a networked multiplayer game, you'll need some people to join you to engage in combat, but feel free to explore even by yourself!

Instructions: Take photos of other players to gain points. One photo of each enemy will be scored; the game will automatically submit the highest scoring photo. Line up your distance, angle, and zoom to get the best score, and get filters or multiple players on the screen for a bonus multiplier. All photos are scored and displayed at the end of the time limit. Most important: have fun!

Was only able to play a 1v1 but it seemed really fun. The style of the landscape modeling is great. I did spawn once in the log cabin wall.

Neat idea, like the concept of framing the shots. The development console however is going crazy with all those Null Reference Exceptions (significant lag).

Didn't really play it with anyone else. The game looks really good, and the movement feels smooth. I'm wondering how the guy managed to stick a giant camera to his chest though :P Good Job

Love it. The only problems I have are that movement feels a bit unresponsive, and I once got stuck behind the platform at the top of the stairs once and couldn't get out until someone killed me. Other than that, great artstyle and perfectly fitting music. I could totally see myself spending an hour or two on this game if I could consistently get into 4 player matches.

This game is really beautiful and totally hilarious. I love how you have been able to take a twist on the usual warfare deathmatch.
Really good job!

Wonderful concept, I'd love to see it expanded into a full game (maybe some sort of goofy paparazzi sim!).

Graphics, sound and controls are all great. The style is frankly magnificent!

Not scoring, as I can't play it (multiplayer, duh), but this scenery... OMG it's lovely. And ability to see my hands and legs? Mega-Awesome.
