Weapon Quest: Where's my weapon? by XtremePrime

[raw]
made by XtremePrime for LD32 (JAM)
The idea of the game is that you play randomly with 1 out of 3 characters that has to use a weapon that does not belong to it's class in order to find his main weapon. You can either be a warrior with a bow or staff, an archer with a sword or staff or a wizard with a sword or a bow. There is only one level (sorry :<) and your main goal is to kill all the monsters.

Being inexperienced with the new weapon, you will only take 1 damage from the enemies, so you have to mash to kill them! (10 times)

Controls:

MOVE: WASD/Arrows
ATTACK: You have to go into the enemies and KEEP going into them.

Coding was made by @xtremeprime in C++ using SFML library

We hope that you will like it. Enjoy and good luck mates.

Interesting concept. I was a bit unclear on what I should be doing to damage the enemies, but I think I figured it out. Some better indication for that would be nice. I really dig the character art though.

Well what can i say. It's rather weird, seems too zoomed. It is really unclear on how to actually play it without dropping life super fast.
I don't really know.
I like the fact of the misused weapon though, it really fits in the unconventional weapon theme.

3/5 because of the theme on spot.

Hard game, I played a few times and couldn't find the correct weapon

Controls are very counter-intuitive. Took me a while to figure out how to attack enemies since there doesn't seem to be any feedback to indicate that you're attacking. The game appears to play exactly the same regardless of what weapon you're using, which kind of makes the difference pointless.

What was used to make the music? I rather like it.

The music is free for commercial usage from playonloop. I opted out the audio voting because of that reason.
