Bahaha! Good idea. I love the idea of learning swears like spells in an RPG or something. I couldn't get past the little old ladies! It makes sense that only they could fight back against swearing at the top of your lungs.

The idea of the curses as a weapon is pretty cool, mechanics a bit clunky (or it might just be my computer's slowness) and acceptable graphics yet they give a nice retro feel to the game.

Good luck!

The weird graphics work well enough in the game's favour, and the core concept is pretty funny.

The idea of swearing at each others is really nice! I don't know why, but I can't kill the first mob, and he kills me really quickly... maybe I'm just bad at this game :P

Thanks!

Oh, and try going right instead of left, you should be able to kill those :P

ha awesome!
f*** you old lady!
I was skeptical. Now I'm surpriesed how much fun the game turned out. The grafics are basic but fit.
I like how detailed the world is.
Be carefull with the depth of some objects. Some curses are behind some objects but infront of others, wich make no sense optically.

Cool, very different way of implementing it, but your idea of fighting through 'speech' is similar to mine I guess xD

Neat.

Man, those old ladies are the real deal! Good game :)

Loved the F curse and grannies :) The graphics are simple but create a nice mood.
Not sure if a bug or intentional: The curses went through all the map so you could spam curses from far away without any risk.
Good job

People say "words hurt more than actions" don't they? :P I like this idea of "levelling up" your curse skills.

Nice job with the game and nice work using Haxe/Nme! :D

It's cool to learn your second curse at the bar and the other on near the construction site. But even after learning some new words at some birthday party, I couldn't beat the horde of old ladies on the far left, the just overwhelm me with their swearing

Btw, it's really annoying that you always have to go all the way left and right

Humorous and odd. I have an idea that people can put their hands over ears to defend

Cool concept, cursing and learning new moves at the pub fits the theme really well. The grandmas are really though!

Haha, really unconventional weapon! Somehow the sloppy art style matches the theme of the game perfectly!

There is no real way to defend yourself (no dodge, and the cooldown on your attack was too long to be able to counter). It boils down to "run to someone, spam your strongest swear word and hope you won't loose too much life in the process".
cool take on the theme, funny, pretty good art... just not very fun.

Could make use of some way to defend and some mechanic that wouldn't promote constant curse spamming. Nice take on the theme anyway!

Not a bad start, and I like the concept. Could definitely use some polishing, and a way to avoid attacks.

A fun entry! I only wish the curses would be more varied. Loved the concept.

Pretty neat game! I like the concept and it controls pretty well. The art is a bit rough but there is a lot of personality there that makes up for it. Here are some things about it that could be improved:

1) It's pretty much impossible to enemy's attack. Your attacks seemed to stop their attacks but because you have to wait a long time before each attack, sometimes you just can't avoid being hit.

2) There should be some sort of health pickups. Especially since you have to start from the beginning every time you die.

Overall, pretty good job!

Fun little entry, would have liked a stronger puzzle aspect to selecting which curse to use against which enemy.
