Mystic Stickup by BeardoGames
It's a splendid night for a walk! But wouldn't you know it? A ruffian! He has assaulted you in the alleyway you walked down and is demanding all your money!
What is a stylish hypnotist like you to do, but break out your mystic amulet and put your years of training to use!
Use the two keys shown at the top of the screen to swing your mystic amulet of hypnotism back and forth. The better you swing it, the more he'll fall under your spell.
But watch out! ***Hypnotism is hard, so the keys you'll need to use will keep changing.***
Do your best or it's lights out for you and goodbye to your money!
----------------
A few notes from the programmer (me):
***NOTE: if you're playing the Mac version, DO NOT click the fullscreen button. It breaks the layout of the game. I've looked into how to prevent it from happening but there doesn't seem to be a clear solution.***
I've posted versions for Mac, Win, and Linux, but I only have access to a Mac so I couldn't test the other two. They _should_ be fine, but you never know. Also, I've disabled the resolutions chooser, but last LD I seem to remember some folks saw it anyway despite our best efforts. Things may not look right unless you select 550 x 800 as the resolution.
Some play pointers: The speed at which the keys change gets faster over time. Good typists may do better at the game. Do not attempt in real life.

Art style is cool as always.
Tip for people who can't see the keys in the web browser: Try zooming out. I think it has to do with Windows scaling - on my high-res monitor, I have Windows scaling set at 150%, and had to zoom the site to 67% to compensate.
Couldn't beat it though, it gets impossible for me later on.
Would recommend.
I've finished more than 5 times trying to find different ends (I found 2 - kawaii and chicken). The game is simple but can be played many times, still keeping fun.
The graphics are well made and the music gives a good atmosphere. Nice work :D
