Ding Dang Doom by Qui

#YOU CAN DIRECTLY PLAY ON THE EMBED FRAME ABOVE

Deep in the ancient dungeon of the Duke of Doom, help the great knight of Bermuda defend the place from the mighty daemonic spirits, with as only weapon a musical triangle.

In this game of agility, you will need rhythm to build powerful spells and throw them to the attacking creatures. Use the left and right keys to play the notes and try to reproduce the spells as noted in the side of the screen. Protect the dungeon from the spirits of evil for as long as you can!

While I didn't find the game particularly challenging (because I could just spam the attacks), the weapon was novel and the protagonist was particularly humorously-drawn.

I like the concept a lot! Reminds me of the Zelda Ocarina system. Unfortunately as someone has pointed out already, yours and mine games both lack in one flaw: button spamming.... oh well. Keep up the great work!

full marks! I love this! So much fun! Yes you can spam the attacks but it is SO much fun to do it with the music. If I were to change one thing, I would make the tings only count on the beat... but that would make it too hardcore :) GREAT ENTRY!

We wanted to add this features but they said this was too hard to code ! ( I made the graphics and musics )

That was very fun, great job all around. The threats and execution felt well balanced and meaningful, it's not easy to accomplish! (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و ̑̑ Especially commend you for the nice tutorial and flavor text.

Great game :)
The controls were really smooth and the introduction of the spells was really good.
Overall very well presented. I could see this expanded into a longer and more challenging game.

Great in all ways!
But the bomb is a little overpower.
Charge and then boom, all the enemy is gone.

I like how the combos are produced. A lot of people already told it, but button mashing makes the game a bit too easy.

Love the triangle as a weapon; love the flavor text in the instructions. It all looks very good, though a little more animation in the enemies would have been more intimidating.

Beautiful game, great sound. Love the concept! I included it in part 2 of my Ludum Dare 32 compilation video series, if you would like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/N2U1d1bXaPI

I really liked the image of the old lady fighting with her deadly triangle.

It was funny and had a good interface. Good fun.

Great production. But the gameplay is not too deep: I ended up just doing charge bomb + bomb + light repeatedly. Needs some way of forcing the play to plan their attacks.

One of the best concept and execution I saw this LD.
Congratulation !
