Zipydooda by Zipydooda
This is my entry for Ludum Dare 32, Unconventional Weapon. In this game, you eliminate your foes by knocking them off the arena with your superiority - in a spinning top form!
Tools:
Game Maker Studio - code and some art
Fl Studio - audio
PaintDotNet - art
You can get this game and it's source from http://zipydooda.itch.io/collide-o-tops
I made this game in game maker studio, so you'll have to use that to open the "source" (the game's project file).
The game saves your score data to C:\Users\your_user_name\AppData\Local\UnconventionalWeapo

This was really fun! The presentation was done well and the difficulty was challenging. One thing I wanted to say was waiting 15 seconds for the first wave to start was maybe a bit much, especially since between waves it was fairly quick. Also, I loved moving the text at the start screen to get a feel for the moment of the game, but doing it every time was a minor annoyance. Great job on this. Would be a fun local multiplayer game.

I would definitely suggest cutting down on the countdown before the first wave. I was about to disregard the game as broken because nothing seemed to be happening. But once the first wave started I thought it was fun. Good input responsiveness.
