I'm James and this is my first ever Ludum Dare game. As you can probably tell through the screenshots, this game woefully inadequate and can barely be called a game. This is my first ever game and was created with Haxe and the game framework HaxeFlixel. \r\n\r\nThe idea behind it was that the Earth was invaded by aliens who could not be killed by any conventional weapons - so became rulers of the planet. A small resistance force found that their only weakness was to ink from fountain pens. The player would have run round various levels inking aliens and freeing slave laborers from cages.\r\n\r\nThis game lacks nearly everything - graphics, sound, levels and enemies so is not playable. But as this is my first game and first jam, I am pleased to have accomplished anything! Over the next few weeks I will continue to finish the game and return with a real version!","title":"The Pen Is Mightier "}
