About this game:
Hello, everyone. Thanks for checking out the game. This is the second Ludum Dare I have attempted and completed. How exciting! I felt like I should add a bit of back story to this entry. Here it goes!
The idea of making a playground, as a level in a game, has been an itch my inner child has been dying to scratch. So I knew where I wanted the setting to be from the very beginning. I just needed to think of an unconventional weapon. I thought to myself, "What if a kid dropped a juice box on the playground and it got all Toy Story/Toy Soldiers up in there?" This was my first thought and it was already late into the first day so I figured I'd run with it. The juice box hero would come to life and find toys that were being attacked by booger monsters. As you can see in the final product, the toys didn't make it in. Let's be honest, a lot of things didn't make it in. That's what happens when you go outfit shopping in the middle of the day and celebrate a birthday. Excuses aside, I did manage to stream a bit of development which helped with concentration. Unfortunately, I only really put about 8 hours into the game. I would have like to have polished more. I realized the visuals were as good as they were going to get once I threw a box mesh over the default Unreal Engine character. I walk away from this Ludum Dare with more knowledge about custom movement modes. (Excuse the frustrating pole climb) Thank you all for playing!

8/10 would slurp up green goo off a playground again.
This game demonstrates knowledge of a lot of difficult techniques in 3D platforming - really well done. I can only imagine how good this would be with weeks or months of development behind it.
