Eiradirian Defense by blay09

[raw]
made by blay09 for LD32 (JAM)
There's a few visual glitches on both the Windows and the Web version that only appear on the packaged version. Sadly this is a confirmed bug on the engine and I was unable to work around it. For the intended experience, see the Gameplay Video.

===

The Web version requires a 64 bit browser to run. Check the Firefox Nightly Builds if you'd like one.

The Windows version requires the C++ Redistributable and the DirectX End-User-Runtime to be installed. You might already have it if you ever played a game on Steam, otherwise you can grab it from the links below if you feel like going through the hassle.

===

Sequel to Eiradirian Instability from the UE4 November Jam and Eiradirian Phasejumpers from LD30.

===

I found them. The code of the universe is so chaotic. It almost consumed me.
But I survived. My mind is here. I found them. They are with me. I will restore them.
And with them, a small fragment of stable reality.

I am confused with this game in a good way, it's so untypical and funny. I like presence of building possiblities and action mode with flying guy :D

Many innovative ideas (throwing body parts, repairing the platforms you're standing on), a few unusual mechanics (switch between characters to teleport back, weird gravity), and a whole lot of confusion as to what's happening and how to do stuff. I recommend focusing on only one idea per game in order to have the time to polish it.

Fun game once I knew what was going on, but a bit difficult to understand at first. Loads of functions going on and UI elements. Also, you know how my advice about using Eiradir games :P .

Sucks about the Unreal glitch, but it's nice seeing an Unreal game this time.

The music was really, really good in the boss. Nice job on Konrad's part.

Not your best game and you know that, but nonetheless an interesting entry with lots of cool features.
