I realized eventually that things get scored immediately in the first 1\/2 of the lane when you start the fart, and that the cloud in fact has no effect - that's problem part one. The second part is that the effect when the heads reach the back line is the same when you destroy them. Sadly you can't really lose, there is no punishment for letting enemies through except for missing out on score which in itself is just a meaningless number. So yeah, design is lacking but it would be easy to improve it to a point where it's actually fun to play.\rAnother thing that really bothered me was the low contrast on the text. You see, dark background requires light text color and vice versa, otherwise you have a hard time reading it.
