The controls are laid out such that it is easy to control both without straining fingers\/arms. I know that your intention was not for people to play against themselves, but, it totally works. I don't think I ever had this experience before. Also, it looks like you got a chance to do some polishing with the menu, ui and sprites. You got the NES aesthetic down pretty accurately, graphics are really gorgeous IMO. Sound was also very appropriate. I did not notice there was a difference between the different food types (was playing alone), is there any? This was my second time participating in Ludum Dare and I'm pretty happy with the results. I present to you... Food Fight! It's a two player fighting game that involves throwing food (you can also punch). I was originally shooting for a NES-Style demake of Super Smash Bros. but due to the time constraint I had to cut a few things out, go a different direction, and then I came up with Food Fight. I'm a programmer, so I'm sorry if the music or art causes you pain. (The code will too!
