This game was made from scratch for LD32 by me, using the following:

HTML5, WebGL, Three.js, jQuery, Howler.js. Sounds were made with a microphone and Audacity. The score was made composed and synthesized in Logic Pro X.

Monster Hat's Great escape is a 3D diorama-style game about an old wizard's hat who subjugates an intrepid adventurer exploring the dank cellar of the magical academy. Together with another artifact, the Monster Horn, they fight their way through hordes of undead.

At least that's the idea, I didn't quite finish - but you can play through the introduction scene. Follow the instructions on screen on how to control your character, but here are the controls again in case you get stuck:

A, D: move
E: pick up highlighted item
Q: use exit
SPACE: use the Monster Horn
