Piano Man Adventure Game by swipefaststudios

[raw]
made by swipefaststudios for LD32 (JAM)
This is my first ever Love2D Game/Level. I wanted to make something better but I don't have the knowledge and still want to submit something after working hard all weekend learning.
So Here is my one level game.
You use arrow keys to move, up to go up ladders. and x to shoot music notes from your piano. (No enemies were implemented) Basically the unconventional Weapon was the Piano or keyboard and the ammo was quarter notes!
This summer I plan on learning how to do an RPG game so next LD I can make a better game to show you!
More Dev updates follow me on Twitter: @swipefaststudios or on YouTube: SwipeFastStudios.
Thanks for checking out my game!

It's a good start, but it's not really a game. I like that you tried something new and tried to make it for the theme, but sadly I can't really give it a high score. It's more of a toy for playing around with, rather than a game.

Looks like you have to spend a lot of time learning framework. Might be good to spend time doing that before the LD. Also, you might check out something that faster to dev with, like gamemaker or unity. You can get a lot more done faster. but do what suits your taste.

Not a bad start! Just keep on improving~
I suggest you start experimenting right away if you plan to enter later jams.

This is a good start. Not much to play as is, but it's not too far away. Keep learning and using the tools as often as you can, you'll get there.

I think participating on LD is good to motivate you on making games. And I bet next time you will improove a lot.
