Close Quarter Time Distorter by Lord bobyness

[raw]
made by Lord bobyness for LD32 (COMPO)
2 Minutes left to go. Whew. Anyhow.
Survive as long as you can.
You can slow down time for everyone else with your "Personal Gold Powered Military Grade Time Distortion Field Generator".

Escape exits the game

I recorded the music and made the effects in the last half hour so there are some minor looping issues(again, Whew!).

Soooo... I'm going to let the adrenaline wear off and eat some food already.

Hope you enjoy!
Also, extract first (of course)

OK, the stealth game with the time distortion field idea is nice. though some more work is required to give it a goal (at first I thought I could leave the level), or make the are a bit larger. One last remark, the guard were seeing me from too far away. Besides that, everything works as expected and I enjoyed a bit of time distorted fun.

Note: we could use one of those to code our Ludum Dare games :).

Nice mechanics implementation. The game could be a bit more polished though.

Instructions are straightforward, and I got the hang of the game pretty quickly. The wall art is a little odd, but it all fits in together well. Battle system is pretty unique and interesting.

The mechanics were unique and made for some pretty fun gameplay. I also found the audio set the mood quite well. What would make this better is a larger world.

Good idea and concept. Everything runs pretty smoothly. It would have been nice to see the concept taken a little bit farther than survive until you die, though. Music was really nice.

It was a very nice and intense game, especially when you alerted the entire house of enemies. Well done. The idea of distortion field is cool, it must be not easy to implement. There are some rough edges in the game like sometime you get stuck in the wall and the map is not large enough. However, consider this is made is 48 hours I would say it is really well done :)

Nice idea, good execution!

Has some problems (the enemies can see too far and get stuck in walls all the time, there doesn't appear to be a goal, etc.) but that's excusable for a 48h game.

Great idea! I really liked the concept and the mechanics! The music also gives a good mood!
Although like everyone else i feel the lack of an objective.

Game mechanic is great, but it could definitely use some polish. I thought I was trying to escape at first and when I realized that I couldn't, it seemed too easy to avoid the enemies. The music is pretty great though!
