Crazy Baker by Hammer Games
Hi guys,
This is the first time our team participate the Ludum Dare. This has been very exciting for everyone!
We started the game friday, making the arts of the game, developing design, and programming the mechanics.
First we had difficult in making the level, but we discussed carefully about what the game would show. After that, we made the characters and we discussed again about which animations are or not necessary to the game.
We are excited to show the results of this incredible experience, in make games for the public, in this edition of Ludum Dare 32, we are happy for having participated of this experiment, althought we are full of the university-related tasks.
Design: The design was made by the artists, we decided to make a baker against the rats who invaded his bakery.
Art: Making the arts was a challenge for the artists, because we had difficult in the first three hours, in decide what would make the game better, or beautiful, and making animations was quite fun after all.
Sound Design: The sound effects of the game were entirely made by our sound design, with his experience in this area.
Programming: The programming was fast, we decided to make the mechanics simple, to simplify the experience of anyone who wants to play our game, because our objective is to our players have fun with the game.
The whole experience was exciting, it was very fun in our first experience in making games for Ludum Dare, we thank all people who helped this project .

Movement felt really floaty and wasn't enjoyable. You also had to be really close to the table but you'd also clip on it going down, which didn't really help the situation. There wasn't good visual feedback when you were clipping or weren't close enough to the counter.
Should be easy to polish up in a post-jam entry, and expand from here. Go for it!
Wish I could use the melee bread hit attack on a separate button so I don't need to waste donut ammo when the rats are close.
The controls felt very slow, specially when attacking.
Also, the game got repetitive quite fast... I didn't fell motivated to keep playing (though I kept playing until I got score of 1090)...
Graphics and audio were nice, though. :)
However, the chef often gets stuck in the environment and the movement is very imprecise. Gameplay could use the same amount of creative flourish that the sound graphics got.
Keep trying!
I want to buy this game on a google play or apple store! Congratulations!
