Nasal Defense Force 2033 by MrShoestore

[raw]
made by MrShoestore for LD32 (JAM)
The year is 2033... well actually 2015, but never the less our nostrils are in peril from imaginable foes lurking deep within the cave entrance. Your only weapon to remove these fowl barricades is the mighty Index.

Use Mouse for Mouse-stuff

Created by Shudda Hadda Lotta Fun Studios:

Design/Audio/Music - Alexander Schuster
Art... well some art... - Mikhail Delinois

This was a tough jam because both of us were SUPER busy, and in Mikhail's case also SUPER sick. But we got something done, and that is always good. Thanks for playing!

*Spoiler Alert* -
The brain part is the end... there is nothing past it. The game becomes basically a stupid interactive toy at that point. If you wanna replay the game you have to restart it/refresh your browser. Otherwise, good job making it to the end! (yea, we know it wasn't hard.)

I sort of actually gagged for a little bit once I realized what the game was. Gross! I actually didn't finish it for this reason... sorry D:

Hilarious concept. Makes me wonder how many people actually have lego bricks lodged up their noses, lol.

I'm glad that I didn't close game in firsts seconds of gameplay. That was disguisting. But further I found the interesting thing. But still don't understand was there are finish or I need to do something special.

Holy. The end. Is sooooooooooo amazing. Great work on the graphics and menu. Seemed like it was very hard to lose, maybe ramp up the challenge a bit? This is definitely the funniest game I have played this jam.

That title. Like the graphics. Like the humor. I like this game but I don't know why.

Well this was.. peculiar :p. I don't know if actually hurting spikes was a problem, because i was suuuuper bad but I eventually got to the brain anyways. Played around a bit with it but wasn't sure if there was a goal or something special to do ^^

This game is very funny, but not very realistic.

For instance, when I stick thumb tacks up my nose, I have to go to the hospital. So not very immersive.

Would recommend.

Ha, that was hilarious! I enjoyed the nostril clearing journey. Once I got to the brain I was a little lost as to what I'm supposed to do, but I think I was able to affect different parts of the brain by picking at it. At one point, the screen turned black and white LOL. Kudos!

The gameplay gets repetitive pretty fast. Maybe if you added a highscore for how far you got. Laughed my head off though :)

Nice end, but did I really had to click on things all the way through there?
And arrived at the brain part, first I didn't figure that I could turn around it.

I don't know which I should be more worried about: The amount of junk stuck up this guy's nose or his ridiculously long index fingers. The end part is pretty trippy though.

The brain bit was great fun. I'd have been happy with just that part. Art and audio are cool too. Good stuff.

Nice entry :) I really enjoyed the end screen with the brain. Squeezing the visual cortex really changes the visual style => awesome

>_< this.
Well, speaking about mechanics - I realy would like to have some sort of scores or "lifes" on the screen, it could add more fun to the game.

Very original concept. I'm not sure how anyone could stuff all of that junk up their nose.

Great job! Good graphics, fun and gross concepts kkk
Got a bit lost in the end... Do I have to do something or just keep scratching my brain?

I'm a little confused about the wisdom of leaving a thumb tack up my nose to avoid damaging my finger...

I didn't reach the end because I didn't know there was one I was looking for. A progress indicator would have helped.

Sound effects and music were spot on.

Didn't reach the end because I wasn't exactly sure what I was supposed to be doing. It didn't seem like I could die either. Could be an interesting runner style game if you provided some more information.

Interesting concept, art looks great and audio fit nicely. Great effort seeing as you were both busy AND ill! Good job guys - gross! :D
