Killin' It by shcromlet
Two player rap battle! Stay on the beat! All three characters have a special move if you play well enough.
Controls:
Player 1: a,s,d,f
Player 2: j,k,l,;
Each key has an associated word. On your turn, you make an eight-word sentence with your four keys.
After making your eight words, control passes to the other player. They have to repeat the same word combination just before each word strikes their character. Every time they miss, they take damage.
Try to stay on the beat or on the half beat. Too many missed beats in your sentence and control passes to the other player.
On the beat? Your word is highlighted.
Off the beat? It's not.
The better your sentence (on the beat, no mistakes), the more damage you do with each hit.

Yeah nice entry, was confusing at first as you have to press just BEFORE the beat - but after that was pretty fun. Nice one!
I always like a rhythm game.
It's a bit hard though so maybe it should be a little more forgiving.
The beat matching was really unforgiving, I thought. I got better at it as I played, but at first I could have sworn I was dead on but it was still registering as a missed beat.
