Shadow Stalker by morokiane

[raw]
made by morokiane for LD32 (COMPO)
You are in a dark world against creatures of the night. Your weapon is yourself as a shadow. When the monsters are in light and touch you they are instantly vaporized. Like them in the light, you are in the dark, outside of the light you will be instantly killed and will have to restart the level. Light all the torches in the level to proceed.

Though the game is semi playable with mouse and keyboard, an Xbox style controller is needed to play the game.

Tools used: Unity, Inkscape, GIMP, Blender, Audacity and BSFX.

I don't understand the game. I think the game might be detecting my xbox controller but it's not being used? And therefor I can't do anything?

Really awesome job with this. I really think those dark, gloomy graphics look great and really fit the game. You also stuck to the theme pretty well, good job with that. The audio quality could have been better, and the controls weren't so clear. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable game. Great job!!

cool concept! The sunshafts coming out of the windows was a nice graphical touch as well!

I like your take of the game :D It's a bit hard to understand where you are supposed to go and if there are any edges to jump to, but it's nice :D And afterall you kill enemies with a touch, it's justified that you've no idea where you're going :D Well done!

I enjoyed playing this. Cool lighting effects and a good creepy mood. I think the only thing it needs is a reason for not holding down the light button, that would force you to take risks.

Really liked the ambient soundscape. A control list in the description would be nice, though, as the controls in-game were broken for me.
