Simple but well executed. I would like to see some effects when you destroy the planets otherwise it is nice. Good job.

Like Dave said, throw in some cracking flakes of crust and particles or something and you could really jazz up the game without having to change much! It might be fun to have a kind of delay with the beam and the rotation, like the planets have a ton of weight and aren't easy to maneuver. This could also create tension as you couldn't easily rotate the planets as quickly as you can now. Keep going with this idea!

Overall a very solid game really enjoyed it :) My feedback comment would be make the planets explode and make the screen shake when they do! Or maybe thats just my style I don't know haha. There is a lot of potential here, could have some really cool slower physics too!.

I liked it, but I think it would work better with mouse controls. By using the arrow keys you limit the speed in which the player is able to move, and possible stress related planet bombardment will not reach it's peak because of this.

Quite enjoyable nontheless =)

Yay I got 10800 points or so. \o/ Simple game but works well. I do agree with what uvwar said, it would have been nice if the movements were not so "static".

Fun game. Tractor beam as weapon is neat. nice background music too.

Cool concept. Would be interesting maybe to do it as a physics based thing where the tractor beam exerted force rather then fixing the planets in space. Would make it a little more dynamic. Otherwise, I enjoyed it. Good job!

Nice classic arcade gameplay feel to this game! :D

Simple gameplay but nice to play. Needs some particles and explosions to make it fancier, like some said, but well made! :D

It would be nice to see a "whip" or something like the proton pack from Ghostbusters for the tractor beam. :3

Thanks for all the nice words and tipps, much appreciated :)

I also would have liked some fancy animations but sadly I'm really bad and visual stuff and sound effects. For this time, my goals were not eye burning graphics and something you could call sound effects. I'm proud of the outcome in these points at least for my standard :D
Next time I will also try to do some animations :)

For idea with the slowdown after picking up a planet: This would probably have made it in with a little more time for balancing and play testing.

For the idea with the mouse controll: Also a nice idea, but a whole new balancing approach. Would also have needed further testing to pinpoint the better solution in the long run.

For doing this whole thing physics based: I'm quite honest, that was my original plan but couldn't pull it off and had to switch to simpler mechanics :/

Thanks again for playing :)

Simple.. yet very nice. The gameplay is a little bit to slowly in the beginning.. After a while you can clearly see that you're not suppose to resist that much :D.

well, that escalated quickly :P
liked the concept, a bit boring at first, but then very hard to keep the pace :)
Power ups gave a great touch :D

Solid entry. That powerup works well - totally makes the player take a risk of grabbing another incoming planet closer than they want to.

Simple but well made game! I included it in part 8 of my Ludum Dare 32 compilation video series, if you would like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/Fg_0-yj__pU
