Sumolems by NIGIC
Somewhere deep in China, a certain group of individuals uses lost arts to bring life to magical constructs of incredible might. Their goal? Sumo wrestling, of course!
Sumolems is a turn-based two-player puzzle game. The objective is to drop Power Stones, remove them and rotate the board in order to align lines of 3 stones or more and push the opponent off the screen.
Controls: Mouse only.
Basics:
- One line gives 1000 points.
- Completing multiple lines in one move gives a combo bonus. 2 lines is x1.5, 3 lines is x2, and so forth.
- "Denying" a line to the opponent gives them 750 points with no combo multiplier.
- Score decreases by 1% (?) per second during a player's turn.
- A player wins if their score goes 10 000 points over their opponent's.
- Therefore, to win, one must prioritize line combos while denying the opponent from doing the same.
Uploading this from my phone as my PC gave out earlier today. This is the latest build fetched from Windows Safe Mode and should be fully functional, all that was left to do was to draw/add characters and possibly a story mode, and fine-tune the AI. Hopefully everything works fine. Will verify and update with other platforms and any required hotfix as soon as I can.
