Wonderful graphics, i love the hard edged but smoothly moving darkness and pixels. The flickering and failing lights are also very cinematic. After trying quite a few silent games, the audio of walking steps and flares was very exciting. I must have used like 30 flares and i didnt make it to morning.. Wonderful game :D

Very nice lighting effects. Together with the sounds it makes the game surprisingly atmospheric.

I would have like more hints where to go, as I repeatedly wandered off into the darkness and got lost. Enemies would have been nice too.
Still a good entry given the time constraints.

Well made engine, didn't really match the theme, nor were the graphics or sounds too impressive.

Unfortunately even after the fifth try I didn't know where to go. I found some more torches but didn't know what to do with them and always ended up lost in the dark

I see we had a similar idea :-D I think your implementation of lighting worked out better, though I'm not 100% sure what I'm supposed to do or how long I'm supposed to hold out for.

I like this horror mood very much. Nice concept. The control is also good.

Light as a weapon is a good idea in a world fulfilled with darkness. I took pleasure in discovering the place even if I was a little lost sometimes.

Nice engine and I really dig your art style. You minimal sound effects suited the atmosphere. Not sure if there was any goal but I had fun exploring anyway :)

It feels ok to play. It's kinda hard to get into, but I think it is good.

Smooth gameplay and interesting idea. I like the sound and simple graphics but nothing really motivated me to keep on moving. Nice game though! I see some nice stuff going for it given the proper time to make it!

i like the game concept and the graphic style. some more feedback and explanation in game would have been nice but the core game is spot on the theme! best game i've played so far

The mood of this game is very good. I loved your use of flickering lights to add to it, and I think not having any music enhanced it more than anything.

Doesn't work in Wine (vertex shader compilation problem), but it looks interesting.

I liked the basic concept of "fight the darkness" as an unconventional weapon. My system handled to display fine. I'd call the flare chasing the darkness away something I want to learn and will check out the code. I did give up after a while as I kept dying ... I guess of fright?
