Remote Access is a hacking simulator game where your mission is to infiltrate a multibillion dollar pharmaceutical corporation and retrieve evidence of their development of unique biological weapons.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to finish in time, but you can still play around with the window manager and get the general feel for what I was going for. I wrote the vast majority of this game in the first 48 hours with the intention of submitting it to Compo, but a few hours before the deadline I decided to switch to Jam instead because it became clear that I would not be able to finish in time. That was 12 hours ago, and I am so exhausted that I'm gonna release the unfinished build now so that I can go to bed. Six hours sleep in sixty hours isn't good for your health...

So without further ado I give you the unfinished game, Remote Access. Have fun!

Awesome.. the only way I can put it. Reminds me a lot of Watch Dogs. I love the accuracy of it and the attention to detail is great and it was an intuitive experience. Well done :)

I really, really like the art style and idea behind it. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work properly?
I can't open the readme nor text viewer and I've no idea what to do with the networkmap or the console...

Sorry guys I wasn't able to finish in time so you cant open the readme file or actually do any hacking right now. I will probably release a finished version of this after the voting period is over.

I saw you said you weren't able to finish, but even with the few things you can do, I really dig what you were going for. The fact that the console log actually accepted real commands was a nice touch.
