This is my kind of game.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>I was pleasantly surprised to discover a new type of weapon on floor 5, up until then I wasn't sure if I was just looking for a bigger sword. I made quick work of the boss with the charm I found, although I'm not sure if there were an alternative weapons I could find.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Animations were simple but attacking felt great, loved the subtle particle effects. \r<br\/>\r<br\/>The only mechanics suggestion that I think would really help would be showing some indication of what your mouse is over by highlighting the target. Some of the click hitboxes felt a little finicky.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Great work!"},{"author_name":"cgmorton","author_uid":"52622","time":"Apr 21, 2015 @ 1:59am","epoch":1429581240,"text":"I like that there's no tutorial. Or, well, I would like to know that you click to attack, but I liked that you have to figure out that the jellies are health potions.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Hell I like the whole game. It's a bit tricky to fight the big bat by just spam clicking, I don't know if there's a better way but it got the job done eventually. Explore a massive procedurally-generated dungeon to find a weapon strong enough to defeat your Bat-Enemy!\r\n\r\nThere's no audio, so feel free to put on some music while you play.\r\n\r\nI apologize in advance for how poorly this fits the theme.  I was originally planning a much more interesting procedural weapon system, but I ran out of time.  Hopefully you still enjoy the game!\r\n\r\n**UPDATE**\r\nI posted a new version with slightly modified combat (increased minimum hit testing distance for enemies from 10 pixels to 25).  The original Jam version is still available below.\r\n\r\n**CONTROLS**\r\nClick the mouse to move around and attack things!","title":"Bat out of Hell"}
