Brainzaxd is an arcade-ish shooter game. You are a brain/heart/muscle/soul guy who floats. You need to keep your subconsciousness safe by throwing brains/hearts/flexed muscles and zaps to the shiny evil minions of subconscious destruction. Don't let them get you.
This is my first try with Unreal Engine. The game is completely made of blueprints. Tried to do something just for the heck of it and challenge myself. There are some missing things/bugs I'd like to update soon such as point system and musics... hope you enjoy.
You are some kind of a "Gate Guardian" in the game. You can only move left or right. You don't need to aim though; just be on the right track and attack the enemies before they reach you, or get pass you.
KEYS:
This is a tough game, you should utilize all of your abilities to survive. Keep those fingers busy :)
A - D or left-right arrow keys : Movement
1: Fire Brain Power (a heavy nuke but costs more ammo)
2: Fire Soul Power (initial damage + damage over time effect)
3: Fire Heart Power (Self Heal - huge ammo costing&little damage)
4: Fire Muscle Power (high cost, but forces impulse on the enemy, useful to slow/stop incoming enemies before you get overwhelmed)
R or Enter : Refill ammo - Deals very little damage, very little self heal, but refills ammo. Always use it between your damage rotation.
C & V : Switch between cameras
P : Pause Menu
(you can also use the numpad keys)

And BTW, there are moments, when you get ammo below 0. ^^
Also the ammo isn't really distinct.
And I think you need to turn off the possibility to fall of the edge.
But anyway it's a good idea!
The fall is intentional :) you got to be careful when defending.

I guess I'll just fix it when I upload a bugfix (about game lagging after a few resets)

And I also like the simple glowing graphics, they give the game a nice feel :)
I just felt like the difficulty needs to be adjusted a bit, it started too hard for a beginner then it gets even harder quickly.
I felt pretty smart the few times I actually managed to use the muscle shot correctly, though. This kept me coming back for a while despite the difficulty!
And of course will add some music.
The difficulty gets reduced dramatically once you get to utilize muscle power. Once you do that, it will get real easier.
As such, you should also utilize heart which will make you able to "tank" incoming damage unless it's the "flashing double muscle" enemy (which deals 90 damage). Those guys are scary.
