My first entry, a mixture of mazing and dodging through the works of a malicious designer, who may or may not be the result of me trying to make this at 4am.
The player's projectiles travel horizontally, affecting nothing except the blue blocks. When they impact, they create a red projectile firing back at the player which can destroy blocks, enemies and the boss. Spoilers. Just in case that's not unconventional enough, the boss has a hidden unconventional weapon too.
Hits from your own weapon and the weapons of turrets make the screen darker, which in turn makes it harder to dodge the walls. Which is harder than it sounds. Much harder.
Sadly the game is far shorter than intended, but oh well, I made a thing!

Though, I founnd it bloody hard! I am not the arcade type of person, but very clever mechanics.
