I think you need to put margin:0px on the body of the webpage that is used in the Ludum Dare website because I got scroll bars around mine.
It’s a shame it is so short because I was still enjoying myself at the end.
While I love the procedurally generated map I did finish the game on a second play through by just holding Z and forwards and not taking my fingers off the buttons. I would love to see some level design in a future version that involved some puzzles with the bolder.
You got a good score from me.
Randomisation is a good thing, and I also like how the character changes hue to show how damaged he is, though it can sometimes be hard to see in the dark.
If I were to improve it, I would allow the player to push the boulder while rolling it, so it out runs the player. I would also eliminate the use of the mouse in the menus. If I want another go, I would like to just slap the spacebar and start again, rather than reaching over to the mouse. But now I am nitpicking.
Great music, awesome game idea, well executed.
An HP bar could be useful.
Its not that easy, though.
I think it's a good concept and it's funny.
(sorry for my bad english i'm french)
the gameplay is a bit clumsy.
the graphics are nice.
nice work overall :)
Btw Great Game! Well done!
The idea is great, the music is awesome and the lighting effects are nice to look at! Just the level design might need some tweaking to make better use of the idea. Good entry!
