U-Boat by TMAT Productions

[raw]
made by TMAT Productions for LD32 (COMPO)
Welcome to U-Boat! This is my second entry into the ludum dare and i hope you enjoy!

Instructions:
Destroy all cargo ship escorts

to engage in battle, click on a ship.

when in battle mode, click on the fire torpedo button then a room to destroy it.

Dive down to avoid detection: if you are hurt, dive down deep and after a while, the enemy will leave.

To fix flooded or blue rooms, click repair then the room. If the room is red you will have to do a full repair on the map.

To even further avoid detection, use silent mode. Detection will decrease, but you will only be able to do one action each turn.

NOTE: Repairing your ship resets the number of ships required to win back to 5. you have to defeat all of them in one shot.

Very nice gameplay, I like the idea of having my own ship. Too bad you didn't have time to add customization, but the game as is is already fun.

Maybe a little % for the chance to hit? From what I gathered, it seems like 33% before upgrade, and then 100% (overkill :D).

Interesting game. My criticisms would be it's a little hard to tell when your hitting and not hitting at first.

Whoa, I love the music in this. It's like Sanford and Son, but underwater... Sanford and Sub..? I like the simple graphics, it makes this kind of game less intimidating for me. :) I wasn't really sure what to do, but I think that's just my inexperience with simulation games. Nice job.
