Hello Hello by celia14
In this fast-paced game, you play as a telephone operator trying to connect people by linking their phone calls on a switchboard.
Based on the theme "Ancient Technology", I started thinking about bygone forms of communication technology, and wanted to build a game around a telephone operator with the power to connect people - or send them astray, or even listen in on their calls.
I ran out of time to implement the last part of that, but I still had a lot of fun building this game for my second LDJam!

Although I think in reality my callers would have been annoyed with how slow I was connecting them. All the whites... then all the reds haha.
also the web veriosn hangs my browser periodically.
I felt like it ramped up to a point, but didn't get much more challenging after that.
Still I found it very satisfying, and the tutorial was also very clear and useful.
Thank you for making this game!
it was a unique concept, and I think you executed it really well. the controls were super responsive and polished, and the interface was so cute, with that modern flat ui feel and vintage-y muted colors. i liked the inclusion of a tutorial, it helped introduce the concept of the game, and i enjoyed playing it, even though i was pretty bad. it definitely seems like the kind of game that you could be really good at once you're in "the zone". v nice. :>
