Am I missing something, you elected to be judged in audio but I don't remember hearing anything. This is basically a humorous Space Harrier. I think it would have been better if there was an infinite amount of enemies and you kept track of how many you defeated. That could have been a way to get a "highscore". It is also missing a game over restart cycle. Had you done those two things, you would have had a game. I know how this goes, I almost didn't have a restart cycle myself this year."},{"author_name":"tininsteelian","author_uid":"52748","time":"Apr 23, 2015 @ 1:30am","epoch":1429752300,"text":"Neat! It reminds me of Space Harrier. It could certainly use a bit of audio though, some audio cues would definitely help to understand if you're playing the game well or not."},{"author_name":"mildmojo","author_uid":"6748","time":"Apr 26, 2015 @ 1:35am","epoch":1430011800,"text":"I tried the WebGL build. I saw the monster on the horizon at the start, smacked a few tennis balls into him, and he blew up. Then it was just a steady stream of tennis balls from nowhere. I didn't see a way to move the player side to side like the screenshot. I smacked a few more balls into space before quitting.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>The art is quite nice. I'm not sure if the game had a bug or was just incomplete."},{"author_name":"MrShoestore","author_uid":"20984","time":"May 2, 2015 @ 2:35am","epoch":1430533800,"text":"there is something interesting with turning space harrier into a weird tennis game, i will say that"}],"images":["ld32\/21486-294a7b24e9b4c8e3ee2ebc0256450760.jpg"],"links":[{"url":"http:\/\/esque.ma\/spacedeuce\/","text":"Web"},{"url":"http:\/\/esque.ma\/spacedeuce\/SpaceDeuce_win32.zip","text":"Windows"},{"url":"http:\/\/esque.ma\/spacedeuce\/SpaceDeuce.app.zip","text":"OS\/X"}],"metadata":{"g_key":"12503","g_author":"21486","g_event":"LD32","g_eventkey":"27","g_subevent":"JAM","g_urlkey":"12533","g_title":"Space Deuce","g_status":"UCHK1","g_place":"99999","g_commentcount":"6","g_site2_node_id":"0","g_hide":"N","g_has_icon":"Y","g_rqueue":"0","g_random":"0"},"nds":[],"node":null,"orig_images":["http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/444368\/21486-shot0-1429571609.png-eq-900-500.jpg"],"text":"You, Grand-Slam winning tennist, are now faced with the game of a lifetime: hordes of plasma-shooting monsters to be destroyed by your backhand.
