Description:
In Clashy Clouds you play as cloud that is thoroughly fed up with everyone polluting.
Your main goal is to keep the nearby cities from polluting the air by making sure they don't want to work. An unhappy city is an unproductive city.
Take care of the smog that comes from the happy cities, and make sure to absorb some water vapor from the nice clouds spawning from nearby the lakes.

Arrow Keys - Move around
Space - Rain
Q, W, E, R - Special Abilities

Q - Lightning - A lightningstrike that reduces the happiness of a city underneath your cloud.
W - Monsoonm- The monsoon instantly reduces happiness of two random cities on the map.
E - Hurricane - Blows all other clouds off the map leaving it clear.
R - Rainbow - This skill will leave everyone in such awe that you will win the game.

HOW TO PLAY:
- Move cloud with arrow keys
- Gather pink clouds to get more water and charge up skills
- Avoid smog clouds to survive
- Make sure cities stays unhappy to avoid more production of smog
- Survive for as long as possible and gather as many pink clouds possible

It was a fun game, with a great angle on the theme. Great idea for a unconventional weapon.

Nice looking and good music, but it's a little easy to keep all the towns at 5.

Good idea for the jam - currently too hard (just for me?) even if I get all the pink clouds (miss one or two) I was able to perform just one storm (may be I missed some trick). Nevertheless very solid entry!

I had to die to figure out how to play (because I'm dumb and didn't read the description, controls weren't intuitive to me)... but cute and good use of the theme!

Really nice work. I believe you could improve it making a more progressive difficult to learn the skills

Great looking game! The clouds and cities were adorable, and I don't call cities adorable often. That said, I thought the game was really unforgiving. I found myself just wandering around waiting for good clouds because I /could not/ rain on cities without a wall of bad clouds getting in the way. It would be nice if the lakes restored your water supply on their own, just by hovering over them, instead of having to wait for the nice clouds.

Excellent entry. Although I didn't necessarily understand what was going on at first, I started to get it and it was quite fun managing your rain and your powers. Really like the take on the theme too using rain as a weapon. Great stuff!

Nice and fun game. I like the graphics and the sound. In fact the whole idea is funky. I felt it a bit difficult though.

Very polished entry. The abilities charge a little too slow and there aren't enough good clouds to collect and you are quite quickly overwhelmed by pollution clouds, maybe ramp down the pollution cloud production rate and make more good clouds. Overall good game, probably the best polished game I've rated so far.

Yey GameMaker (or at least I assume that with that loading bar ;) )

Great concept and beautiful art/music. I felt that the stuff filled up a bit slow and I found it a little hard to not get swamped by clouds (although I see comments saying it's easy so maybe I'm just terrible)

Doesn't load on Firefox for me, but worked just fine on Chrome.

A solid arcade game, with some minor gameplay issues.

I would like the wind direction and speed to change in a less predictable fashion to spice up the gameplay. This would require a wind direction indicator though, so that planning where to go next was still possible.

Some of the pink clouds could spawn outside of the screen at a random interval, as currently there are very few of them and most of the time they are blocked by pollution and/or get pushed outside the area by the wind very fast.

It's a tad odd that while you have a functioning health bar the game also ends automatically when the pollution's gotten too severe. This is not communicated in anyway and comes as a total surprise before figuring out the magic number that the city pollution should't go beyond.

I would rather have the overall pollution have a periodic effect on health meaning that the player could easilly see how close they are to their doom, based on the cloud size and their health bar.

Thanks everyone :D @lebrokholic We'll probably be working on a post-jam version with an ingame tutorial and some more things soon and might even port it to Android.

Loved this game! Very cute, and actually pretty challenging. I liked the specials we could use by saving up pink clouds. It was a game I wanted to keep playing. Nice music, and also really good use of theme!

This game was so cute. *-*

But it was also too slow... The rainbow took forever to fill...

The best I've seen so far! Really well done. The only things needed now are polish things like on-boarding. I had to come and carefully read the instructions to work out what to do.

I enjoyed the concept. I was a little confused on the game play, whether or not the cities were supposed to be green or red. I also felt like the smog was a little overwhelming compared to the pink clouds. Maybe add more progression to the amount of smog clouds.
