You did more than a lot of people who just give up or never try.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>The simple pixel art actually helps the feel of the game I think, and helps you focus more on the choices and choosing the right one. I agree with ChrisGaudino that the difficulty should probably ramp up over time."},{"author_name":"kaype","author_uid":"25076","time":"Apr 21, 2015 @ 9:33am","epoch":1429608480,"text":"I thought the beautiful, innovative poetry at the beginning was quite cute =)\r<br\/>\r<br\/>I have to agree with ChridGaudino here though, the game certainly does have a lack of content. But considering the fact that you made this game with tools you were just learning how to use at the time is pretty impressive and makes up for it IMO.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Cool entry"},{"author_name":"Windmill Games","author_uid":"39002","time":"Apr 21, 2015 @ 12:03pm","epoch":1429617480,"text":"I actually quite liked it, it is a bit different... Most others have been failed attempts.\r\n\r\nThe game is pretty simple, inspired by my deepest fears. A serial killer is hiding in your bathroom, and you have to defend yourself.\r\n\r\nThe game is simple for a reason. I decided to make this a challenge and use Javascript \/ HTML5 for this, as opposed to my usual Java. I had never even touched HTML5 until a few days ago, and even then I still had a lot to learn about Javascript. Then I started the compo, and started to fall in love with HTML5. I think I will use it more often, thanks to this jam.\r\n\r\nI can't say I'm proud of the game design, but I sure am happy I discovered HTML5 :D.","title":"attack\/defense"}
