Welcome to HippieRun!

The goal of the game is to run over hippies with your wheelchair! Fun!

How do you run them over, you ask? Simple. Use WASD to move your wheelchair. Press and hold to activate your boosters. Drive over the hippies with your boosters on and watch them explode into glorious red! Running over hippies has never been more fun.

The hippies come in waves. Run over all of the hippies to advance to the next level. You health is restored at the start of the wave.

Some thoughts...

For my first, I'm quite satisfied with the result. It's a little goofy (okay really goofy), and I like that. I felt like this theme gave me a lot of freedom.

I actually did have time for music and sound production, which is great. I'm quite happy with how the audio turned out.

So yeah. Enjoy running over hippies. :P

Nice game! Interesting idea and I loved the large level! Would like a higher concentration of hippies as I spent a long time finding hippies to run over.

It was tough to find enemies at the beginning, but once round two came they were everywhere. It's a funny concept!

Awesome sound track, pretty clever idea. I couldn't ever actually run over the hippies, maybe a little more clarification on the controls.

Very interesting game to say the least. The booster thing was cool but I found that if I stopped moving when pressing it, you just drain the ability without effecting any of the hippies. Small detail though, keep at it and "don't be part of the system, man..."

LOL, I've definitely never seen a game like this before. The most unconventional part is the sound-- so weird. The music is great too. The gameplay is fun and has a nice speed to it.

Loses its charm quite quickly. But a fun game regardless. Love the hippie voices. Also has a great soundtrack good job.

Good play on the theme, it is indeed unusual. The hippies phrases are all pretty funny too. The level is too big though, it gets too hard to find more hippies to run over.

Hahah this is hilarious! Loved the music, its really good for a compo game. Gameplay is alright, graphics too. Keep it up!

Great music, great voice acting! Few rendering issues as you move around the map (that as others have said is too large for the game type) but otherwise solid!

Liked the music, and the arcadey/arena gameplay. Could use some powerups I guess... Graphics are good, so is the concept. Could have used the theme more I guess, but it's good as is.

For a while, after running over a few hippies, there was nothing, I just wandered around looking for hippies.
It also got a little repetitive.
