KEK NOR KEK by nanimono

[raw]
made by nanimono for LD36 (COMPO)
You woke up after 3k years of sleep. You are no longer human.
Good for you that you are slept near the resource spot and not died from starvation.
There is absolutely nothing you can do in the game. 3k years have passed after all. Everything dies.

Genre: Walking Simulator. Control: WASD - move, Escape - quit.

I like how I slowly crumble. Not sure about the name of the game though.

This has a nice haunting atmosphere, and the death animation is pretty sweet.

It has an interesting look to it; played long enough to fall to pieces.

I like the looks of the game and that it works in web player, and the death is awesome

Cool atmosphere, I like the feeling. Would've been nice to be allowed to explore more, I crumbled in less than a minute. Either way, GG pal!

As others have said, the graphics are good, and the way you "decompose" is very neat. It would be good to have some gameplay, though! ;)

The atmosphere is good, though the game doesn't seem to communicate the rules well.

Looks like those black particle clouds are recharge spots. But whenever I move from second to third, the character falls apart for some reason (lightning?). Is it possible to avoid it somehow?

"Walking simulator" XD
Mm nice atmosphere!
Visually I think you've done a pretty great job!
The first thing that popped into my mind is - the character - the hybrid of cubes and human parts work so well why haven't I seen it before? Perhaps I just didn't play games who did something similar but to me it seemed pretty unique. The decompose was also very cool.

I also managed to get the white screen of KEK NOR KEK.
I'm still not sure what the title means but I have some ideas - kek nor kek could be read as:
cake nor cake - nor is the logical operation.
lol nor lol - where kek is slang for lol (related to wow)

eye hil eye - if kek nor kek is a caesar encoding (the repition of kek might hint that it's a word, therefore it's not a total strech).
in some languages hil means killing, perhhaps (eye for an eye?), or it could mean HIL as "Hardware-in-the-loop simulation" but that's totally a strech haha.

Well it could be just bullshit as well xD

Really cool mechanic. Ambience and visuals were all very cool. Regeneration was inconsistent but you could easily polish this up. There is game in the rough and it is good.

Atmosphere is good, well made graphics. But without gameplay mechanics you quickly loose interest to it.

Not sure if this counts as a "game" really, but nonetheless the graphics and animations are nice. It controls well and I like the ambience.

Nice self destruction, but it seems to me that the main character walks too slowly. Freaky atmosphere. Well done ++

As others have said, the atmosphere is really cool and quite unique. I'm not sure though if there's any gameplay - I understand that it is a "walking simulator" but that being said was it originally meant to have other mechanics?

In any case the walking animation is pretty well done and the crumbling animation is something I haven't seen before.
