ColourBots by Gunn3rboi

[raw]
made by Gunn3rboi for LD32 (COMPO)
ColourBots is a game about a kid who falls asleep in class and in his dream the robots he drew but didn't colour are angry and seek to harm you, the only way to survive is to give the robots what they want and to colour them in with the crayon gun.

Collect crayons for ammo.
C to unlock/lock your cursor.
1 kill = 1 point.

it only takes 2 shots to kill a robot, there is a delay between the second shot and death so keep this in mind so you don't waste ammo, the max amount of enemies in the game will go up every 15 seconds.

i made everything myself except for the built in unity features.

Unfortunately the games doesn't load for me. I allow Unity to start and I see a white page.

Pretty fun. The bots spawn a bit slow to move so slowly (a bit easy if you have enough ammo), and the ammo was a bit in short supply, and had no clear value.

That being said, I like the concept, and thought it was still pretty fun. It certainly kept me playing longer than some games I've come across! Good job!

I jumped out of the map! :) Nice work though, it was scary the first time one of the robots popped up behind me. It might benefit if they spawned elsewhere as well. There's no reason to run around that whole complex map that you made if you can just spawncamp and get points.

Thought this was a jam entry the first time I rated it so I'm back to say sorry and It's very impressive for a compo entry!

Nice Entry!
I ran a long time not seeing any enemies, then turn around and a long line of twelve was pursuing me. I think that maybe the AI track the player from too far away.

It's a cool entry.
The map is quite large and the only reason to walk around is because you run out of ammo, of which there are not very many packs. This makes it feel like the world is too large.

Nice graphics, easy to use controls, and clear objective. The level was a bit too small, and due to only one enemy type, combat got stale kind of quickly. Nice work overall, you definitely have a good start to an interesting shooter.
