alright game, but knives aren't a very unconventional weapon.

I had some trouble engaging dashing when I wanted to, but otherwise a perfectly good entry.

It was too hard for me. And I didn't understand the life bars.

Dashing mechanic is pretty cool but the game is way too hard. Its not quite clear why the enemy sometimes moves faster then slower after a certain amount of 'bounces' off the wall.

really tough, i need to be able to move faster. You also could have used something less conventional for the weapon. Overall a pretty solid game.

Good game, but you can try do something bewtter with the graphics. The background was kinda "blurred", and the player was perfectly smooth.
but! was pretty fun to play

I didn't find it super fun, but it sounds like an interesting mechanic when you describe it. Maybe if the graphics were a bit more responsive, and your character a bit faster, it would feel like I have more of an ability to do something.

I agree that the game is fairly hard, even on the easiest setting. I think one main issue with the game is the green resource bar. It seems (from what I could tell) that both throwing your knife and dashing used the same resource, which is pretty limited already just trying to throw your knife. Even without dashing, I found that I couldn't throw knives as often as I wanted to, even if I had pretty good accuracy with them! Using any dashes at all seems to not only limit your ability to attack, but also only dodges one of the enemy's pass-bys. The speed at which you regenerate your green bar doesn't seem to match the enemy's movement speed.

I think some playtesting (and getting other people to playtest!!) and balancing would have done wonders for this game. That said, I did very much enjoy the main mechanic of throwing knives. I like that you only punished the player with a lost knife if they missed :b

Not too unconventional.

As mentioned, it might have been better if throwing a knife and dashing used a different resource, could use more balancing. It also might be worth looking into how often the enemy can change directions when close to the player. There were a number of times where I dashed away from the enemy as he changed direction, only to have him change direction again and head straight to where I dashed.

Overall, good concept, though it didn't fit the theme very well.

I liked this game! But just because it's a weapon it doesn't mean it's unconventional :)
