Robots vs Stuff by Martins
Connect the colors - click and drag between same colored squares to select them. No diagonals.
Each color is a component to be put on a robot (see left column for 3 robots you are currently making)
The more squares you connect in making a robot part - the more powerful robot will be created.
If no robot needs part you are currently making - it will be discarded (ie not put on robot)
Point of the game is to create enough robots so they can take on the Boss. (Better parts make for stronger robots, but a lot of cheap ones can overwhelm him too, so cheap and lone robots are doomed)
Be careful with board reshuffling - it will heal the boss (unless board is beyond hope - you will be notified, when free reshuffling is offered) so you need to take extra care in and not make the board look like a chess board with no no neighboring colors to connect.
Protip: Click and hold on colored square, look at the left columns and see what kind of robot part are you making, quality level of it and whether it will be put on a robot or end in trash (upper leftmost icon)
ProProTip: Legs determine speed; Body: attack distance, damage and health; Head: damage, health; Core: damage; Armor: health

This could be a really good mobile game.
Add a you win screen or something maybe.
Fun 4/5: It's fun, but after playing a while it's a bit repetitive.
Theme 3/5: It simply is runned in one screen but it doesn' have any reference.
Graphics 4/5: Simple and well done.
Audio 3/5: Great music but annoying sfx.
Humor 2/5: I can't really rate that category, I couldn't find nothing of humour. Anyway, robots are a bit funny.
Mood 3/5: I don't know what exactly that category means.
Overall 4/5: Great game!!! It needs a help menu.
I suggest you use a smaller grid with less colors (like 3 or maybe 4) but force a 3-block combo to make it harder. And more things should happen on robot part of the screen so the player has to make smart choices of components at the right time.
Only drawback besides balance is that the theme is only considered as a limitation, not an inspiration.
Anyway, really nice, release it fast on mobile before I get tempted to make my own variation :p
Overall I think this is a great game idea! You should continue it and try making a full game. As someone else mentioned there should really be a win notice though. I was confused why the timer wasn't increasing and had apparently been playing, with a crowd of robots attacking, some time after actually winning.
Very well done!
Maybe you could take more advantage of that :)
Good job!
There was a bit of learning curve while I figured out what wasted parts meant and how making robots was good not bad, and that the boss was to be attacked and not defended, etc.
But after a game spent learning, I restarted and it got pretty interesting!
Nice work.
